About Caprock Auto Care
Local Mechanics Who Come to You. No Chain, No Call Center.
We built this as a mobile repair service for the way people in Lubbock actually live: busy, on the road, and tired of losing a day at the shop.
We’re a Mobile Repair Service Built for Lubbock
Caprock Auto Care isn’t a franchise or a national chain with a call center in another state. We’re a mobile auto repair service in Lubbock, based on 19th Street and built around one simple idea: you shouldn’t have to rearrange your day to get your car fixed.
We know these roads because we drive them every day. We know stop and go traffic on Slide Road and 82nd Street eats brake pads. We know spring dust storms clog air filters and AC condensers. We know a Lubbock summer kills batteries, and the first hard freeze finishes off the weak ones.
Every job is done by an ASE certified, fully insured mechanic, with EPA Section 609 certification for AC work. Every repair is covered for 12 months or 12,000 miles, parts and labor. If something isn’t right after we leave, we come back and make it right.
Three Things We Don’t Compromise On
We test before we replace
A clicking car isn’t always a dead battery, and a squeal isn’t always worn pads. We test first, so you never pay for a part you didn’t need.
You get the price before any work
You get a free quote on the phone and the exact price in writing before we start. If we find something else, we stop and ask. Nothing happens without your yes.
We tell you the truth about limits
Some jobs need a lift or a shop. When that’s the case, we tell you right away, and you pay only for the diagnostic visit. We’d rather lose a job than sell you the wrong one.
Certified, Insured and Accountable on Every Job
These aren’t just words on a website. They’re the standard we hold every repair to, in your driveway, your work lot or an apartment parking spot.
