About These Terms

These terms apply to this website and to the mobile repair services provided by Caprock Auto Care, 4426 19th St, Lubbock, TX 79407. By using this website or booking a repair, you agree to these terms.

Information on This Website

We work to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but it is general information, not advice for your specific vehicle. The prices shown on our service pages are average ranges for the Lubbock area, not offers or fixed prices. Your actual price depends on your vehicle and what it needs.

Quotes and Approval

• Free phone quote. Before we drive out, we give you the price of the diagnostic visit and, where possible, a likely price range for the repair.
• Written price before work. After we diagnose the vehicle, you get the repair price in writing. We do not start any repair until you approve it.
• Changes along the way. If we find another problem during the repair, we stop and ask before doing any extra work.
• Diagnostic visit. The diagnostic price is credited toward the repair if you go ahead. If you choose not to go ahead, or the vehicle needs a shop, you pay only for the diagnostic visit.

Your Responsibilities

• Make sure we are allowed to work where the vehicle is parked. At apartments, workplaces and other private property, it’s your responsibility to get permission from the property owner or manager.
• Give us access to the vehicle and its keys, and tell us about anything we should know, like a warning light, a recent repair or a known leak.
• Provide a reasonably flat, safe place to work. If the location isn’t safe, we may need to reschedule or recommend a tow.

Scheduling and Weather

Arrival times are estimates. We call you if we are running late. If you need to change or cancel a visit, please call us as early as you can. We may reschedule a visit when weather, such as heavy rain, lightning, ice or a dust storm, makes outdoor work unsafe.

Payment

Payment is due when the work is done. We accept cash, debit cards and major credit cards. Trip fees for Levelland and Plainview are quoted on the phone before the visit. There is no trip fee inside Lubbock.

Our Warranty

Repairs we perform are covered for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first, on parts and labor. If a covered repair fails because of our parts or workmanship, call (806) 749-3355 and we will come back and make it right at no charge.

The warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear, such as brake pads wearing down with use
• Damage from accidents, misuse, neglect or outside causes
• Parts that you supply
• Repairs made or changed by someone else after our visit
• Problems with parts of the vehicle we did not work on

Limits on Our Responsibility

To the extent allowed by law, our responsibility for any repair is limited to fixing the problem under our warranty or refunding the amount you paid for that repair. We are not responsible for problems with parts of the vehicle we did not work on, or for delays caused by parts availability or events outside our control.

Using This Website

You may use this website for your own personal, non commercial use. Please don’t copy, change or reuse its content, photos or design without our permission, or use the site in a way that could damage it or interfere with others.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date at the top of this page. The terms in place when you book a repair apply to that repair.
